Peacock Brass Wall Panel
This rectangular shaped wall panel has a peacock in the middle of the board, seated on a bloomed lotus flower. With feathers spread wide in the background, and flowers and twines of plants designed on it, the peacock is seen looking to its back, as if admiring its own beauty. To the top and the bottom of the peacock, are works of art of twigs and twines, made in brass. The peacock is in its abode surrounded by leaves, flowers and twines. This work of art can also be seen, carved on a pillar behind lord Jambukeswarar’s sannadhi of Thiruvanaikovil,Trichy.
