Ayyanar is seated on a beautifully crafted peedam which has lotus flower engraved at the bottom and is finely worked with twigs and floral motifs all over. The left leg of the Lord is vertically folded and placed on the peedam while his right leg which is hanging down is kept on a lotus. The lord holds a whip in his right hand and rests his left hand on his folded leg. The important feature of this kavacham is the kreedam, which is designed to depict the fan-shaped matted braid of Ayyanar. The lord is decked with ornaments and exquisite artworks all over him. His consorts Puraṇai and Puṣkalai are seated to the right and left of the lord on pedestals with their vastram beautifully spread on the peedam. Purna is holding a lotus in left hand and her right hand is kept on her right leg which is hanging down. Pushkala is holding a lotus in her right hand with her left hand kept on her left leg which is hanging down. Both the Goddesses are decked with kreedam and ornaments. This silver kavacham is completely crafted meticulously by us, Karuppaiah Sculptures.
